PP-Serial-to-Ethernet
Overview
The PP-Serial-to-Ethernet is a compact yet powerful Ethernet to Serial converter. The W55RP20 is a chip that combines Raspberry Pi's RP2040 with WIZnet's W5500. The W55RP20, WIZnet's new chip, is installed.
This module acts as a protocol converter that transmits data sent from serial devices as TCP/IP data and converts TCP/IP data received over the network back into serial data for the serial devices.
Features
- Serial to Ethernet based on W55RP20( RP2040 MCU )
- Includes W55RP20 and magnetic RJ45 modular jack
- 10/100Mbps Ethernet & Up to 230kbps serial speed
- Status pins: RUN status
- MQTT, Modbus Available
- Serial signals - UART (TX,RX,RTS,CTS)
- USB debugging support
Front/Back
Setting
- RP_BOOT : When RESET or power-on occurs, if RP_BOOT is GND, the system enters BOOT mode. Firmware can be uploaded via USB.
- USB_DP/DM : Firmware can be uploaded through BOOT mode.
- RUN_LED : Blinks when the module operates normally.
- UART_RTS : On RESET or power-on, operates as RS-422 if RTS is GND, or RS-485 if RTS is floating.
- RESET: Operates in Active Low mode.
- 232/485 CS : On RESET or power-on, operates as TTL/RS-232 when LOW, or RS-485/422 when HIGH.
Control
You can control the module without any installation program.
Control is possible via Serial/Ethernet.
The module can be controlled using a Configuration Tool through Ethernet-TCP.
Additionally, it can be controlled via AT-Command through Serial.
